“… The Shift in Human Nature

You're starting to see integrity change. Awareness recalibrates integrity, and the Human Being who would sit there and take advantage of another Human Being in an old energy would never do it in a new energy. The reason? It will become intuitive, so this is a shift in Human Nature as well, for in the past you have assumed that people take advantage of people first and integrity comes later. That's just ordinary Human nature.

In the past, Human nature expressed within governments worked like this: If you were stronger than the other one, you simply conquered them. If you were strong, it was an invitation to conquer. If you were weak, it was an invitation to be conquered. No one even thought about it. It was the way of things. The bigger you could have your armies, the better they would do when you sent them out to conquer. That's not how you think today. Did you notice?

Any country that thinks this way today will not survive, for humanity has discovered that the world goes far better by putting things together instead of tearing them apart. The new energy puts the weak and strong together in ways that make sense and that have integrity. Take a look at what happened to some of the businesses in this great land (USA). Up to 30 years ago, when you started realizing some of them didn't have integrity, you eliminated them. What happened to the tobacco companies when you realized they were knowingly addicting your children? Today, they still sell their products to less-aware countries, but that will also change.

What did you do a few years ago when you realized that your bankers were actually selling you homes that they knew you couldn't pay for later? They were walking away, smiling greedily, not thinking about the heartbreak that was to follow when a life's dream would be lost. Dear American, you are in a recession. However, this is like when you prune a tree and cut back the branches. When the tree grows back, you've got control and the branches will grow bigger and stronger than they were before, without the greed factor. Then, if you don't like the way it grows back, you'll prune it again! I tell you this because awareness is now in control of big money. It's right before your eyes, what you're doing. But fear often rules. …”

Dutch activist: Gaza convoy had been checked

The Gaza-bound convoy of ships carrying humanitarian aid that was stormed by Israeli naval commandos was checked to see if it contained dangerous materials, according to Dutch woman Anne de Jong, who was on board one of the ships.

Anne de Jong is one of two Dutch citizens who, together with some 500 other activists, were sailing on the six-ship flotilla carrying aid to the besieged Palestinian Gaza Strip. It’s unknown whether Ms de Jong was injured in the Israeli attack. Army forces boarded the largest vessel in the small hours of the morning, some 64 kilometres out to sea.

Piracy?

Nothing has been heard from Anne de Jong since then, says her contact person Vivian Korsten. It has been confirmed that Ms de Jong was not on board the Turkish ship, where the deadly clashes took place. Meanwhile, the flotilla has been escorted to the Israeli harbour town of Haifa.

“The ships were some 65 kilometres from the coast of Gaza, which effectively means that they were in international waters. And if I understand rightly, that means the uninvited entry of Israeli troops aboard the ships amounts to an act of piracy.”

It is not an act of piracy, says Frank Smele, Professor of Commercial and Maritime Law at Rotterdam’s Erasmus University. Pirates attack for their own gains, but, in this case, the operation was carried out by Israeli authorities for security reasons. “A hostile act” is how Professor Smele puts it.

Anne de Jong – and hundreds of activists – set off from Cyprus last Sunday with the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, aiming to break Israel’s three-year blockade of the Gaza Strip by carrying 10,000 tonnes of aid to the residents of the Strip. The action was also meant as a gesture of support to Gaza which is continuing to suffer by the economic isolation imposed by Israel. Anne de Jong:

“We have nothing on board that poses a threat to Israel’s security. Every passenger and all the cargo have been checked by local police. All the goods we’re carrying are to be used to help build up Gaza again.”

Non-violent resistance

Ms de Jong is a Ph D student at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. She told Radio Netherlands Worldwide she was taking part in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla action because she feels that academic work shouldn’t be confined to researching and writing articles. She stresses that she would never resort to using violence:

“We will not surrender voluntarily to Israel, because this is a mission to Gaza. Neither will we enter Israeli waters. If I’m taken to Israel, it will be against my will and I will only use non-violent resistance.”

Warning in advance

Israel claims the activists had been warned and said it repeatedly told them it would stop the boats, calling the campaign a “provocation intended to delegitimise Israel”. The ships should have moored at the harbour town of Ashdod for examination.

Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon branded the activists “allies of Israel’s Islamist enemy Hamas” and a government spokesman said the convoy was intended to offer support to the radical Palestinian group. Israel says it had to intervene to avoid “illegal” goods reaching the harbour at Gaza. Al Jazeera had earlier reported that the convoy had changed its course to avoid a confrontation with the Israeli navy.

The Turkish government is furious over the Israeli operation. Most of the victims who died are Turkish. Ankara denounced what it calls “Israel’s inhumane interception” and has warned of “irreparable consequences” to the two countries’ relations. In Istanbul, thousands of protesters gathered outside the Israeli consulate. The demonstrators, chanting anti-Israel slogans, attempted to break past security barricades, but were held back by police.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said that what Israel committed on board the Freedom Flotilla was “a massacre”. He has declared three days of official mourning for the dead. Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, is outraged and has called on Arabs and Muslims throughout the world to “rise up” against Israel by rallying outside all of Israel’s embassies.
