Prince Harry was in The Hague on Thursday for the official launch of the Invictus Games, the annual sports competition for injured members of the armed forces which will be held in the Netherlands in May 2020.
Harry, who became a dad for the first time three days ago, was given several presents for the new baby, including an Invictus Games baby grow by Dutch princess Margriet.
In a short speech, the prince, who created the games in 2014, said he was ‘absolutely thrilled’ that many more injured, wounded and sick servicemen and women ‘will have the opportunity to continue the journey to their recovery’.
‘It’s your resilience, your determination and your courage which draws crowds in their thousands leaving them more inspired, moved and proud than they ever thought possible,’ the prince said.

The games take place very year and are opened to injured men and women from the armed forces all over the world. Some 500 sports men and women from 19 countries will take part in The Hague games.
