RNW, 11 May 2011

Fokker Technologies, the Dutch aerospace company, is planning to work closely together with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac). Fokker CEO Sjoerd Vollebregt is signing a contract with Comac on Thursday in Shanghai.

The agreement is on “potential co-operation between Fokker Technologies and Comac”, according to a spokesperson for the Dutch firm. However, no details were given about how much the deal might be worth.

The signing of the agreement comes during the visit to China by a Dutch trade delegation. It is being led by Economic Affairs Minister Maxime Verhagen.
